The Hammonton History Project includes hundreds of historical images and documents of Hammonton, New Jersey that present varied aspects of the town's rich culture and history. In partnership with the Town of Hammonton, Stockton University developed this project in conjunction with the Hammonton Sesquicentennial celebration of 2016. Images were chosen from the collections of the Hammonton Historical Society, the Puerto Rican Civic Association, Special Collections of the Richard E. Bjork Library of Stockton University, and from individuals within the community. The original images and documents reside with the other institutions and private collections; Stockton University does not own most of the physical items.
While Stockton University’s Bjork Library’s Special Collection and Archives owns the collection, Stockton may not own the copyright for all of the items. Researchers wishing to reproduce materials are responsible for obtaining the proper permissions.
