About Us: Student Advisory Board

Our Mission

The Richard E.Bjork Library’s Student Advisory Board consists of spirited student volunteers who are dedicated to improving the University library’s resources, spaces, and services.

The mission of the Board is to include students in library discussions and development. There are two undergraduate students from each of the following disciplines (School of Business, School of General Studies and Graduate Education, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, School of Education) and two graduate students (from any of the aforementioned disciplines) on the advisory board. The board members act as advocates for the larger student body, representing the different schools. If selected, members are able to serve until graduation, or until they choose to conclude their service.
