Faculty Services: PALCI Borrowing

PALCI Reciprocal On-Site Borrowing Program

PALCI

Stockton University faculty have borrowing privileges at many of the PALCI (Partnership for Academic Library Collaboration & Innovation) libraries. PALCI libraries have chosen to extend free library use and on-site borrowing privileges to the patrons of the other PALCI member libraries. Each PALCI library participating in this program has determined which categories of patrons (faculty, students, and staff) from the other participating libraries are eligible to use their library and borrow materials on-site.

After filling out the Authorization Form, you will need to stop by Bjork Library Services Desk to get it authorized before visiting another library. Bring the signed form to a participating library. See more below.

Procedure

  • Confirm the library you want to visit participates in this program.
  • Complete the Authorization Form and have it approved by an Authorized Staff Member at Stockton's Bjork Library Service Desk.
  • Take the completed form to the library you want to visit (Host Library). You may be asked for additional information to complete the registration process.
  • You are responsible for the materials you borrow from the Host Library you visit and are required to adhere to their due dates and policies.
  • You are responsible to return the items to the Host Library from which they were borrowed. Your Home Library may or may not agree to return items to the Host Library; check with your Home Library to determine their policy.

PALCI EZBorrow Service

PALCI EZBorrow

The PALCI EZBorrow program is an expedited interlibrary loan service that allows students, faculty, and staff at the participating institutions to discover, request, and borrow books from 80+ college and university member libraries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia.

You may search and request any titles marked available for borrowing. Login with your GoStockton credentials. When they arrive, you will receive the same Item on Hold notice you receive for our library's books. Pickup books at the Library Services Desk.
