Digital Archives
Some University Archives collections have been digitized and are available through the library's Digital Collections or online through the University website.

ArgoEstablished in 1971, the "Argo" is a student-produced newspaper that isn't an official publication of Stockton. It operates as an independent, non-profit corporation, staffed by students and managed by an external Board of Directors. The publishing schedule has varied over the years, but current schedules include 24 editions during the academic year and one summer issue targeting new students.

Faculty GovernanceThis collection provides Stockton's Faculty Senate annual reports, meeting minutes, proposals and other miscellaneous documents.

Richard Stockton (1730-1781)
Richard Stockton was one of the New Jersey signers of the Declaration of Independence. While he has no known connection to the South Jersey area, the original members of the Board of Trustees chose to name the institution for him after the originally-proposed name - South Jersey State College - was rejected by the New Jersey Board of Higher Education.
