Most materials in Archives and Special Collections are open for use by the general public, Stockton University faculty, students and alumni. In order to properly ensure the long-term accessibility and preservation of these collections, they do not circulate and must be used by researchers in the designated Reading Room.
Stockton University Archives contain official and unofficial records of the institution. These include things like the Bulletin, Board of Trustees meeting agendas and minutes, yearbooks, reports, presidential correspondence, photographs, newspapers and newsletters, and information from various campus divisions, departments, and programs. Materials are available in the Reading Room, by appointment, or by contacting us.
We are always interested in donations of materials - from staff, faculty, students, alumni, and community members. We are especially interested in collecting items from:
The Student Senate first met in 1982. This collection contains their minutes, constitutions, and newsletters up to the present day.
Selected papers from the May 1982 conference at Stockton.
