Please join us in welcoming Stephanie Sussmeier, our new Metadata and Cataloging Librarian! Like the rest of the librarians, Stephanie is responsible for library instruction, collection development, and serving as a subject librarian. As Metadata and Cataloging Librarian, she will also work with metadata creation and maintenance, managing resource description projects, and implementing and updating policies and procedures relating to metadata/cataloging. She is the liaison for music and languages & culture studies.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Masters in Library and Information Science, and a Masters in Archives and Records Management. She previously worked as Discovery Archivist at Avalon History Center/Avalon Free Public Library and Special Collections and Archives Librarian at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Before that, she worked in Tech Services at Richard E. Bjork Library for 12 years. Welcome back, Stephanie!
