National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped

Administered by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, this free national library program provides braille and recorded materials for blind and physically handicapped readers. Persons with visual or physical impairments may borrow -- free of charge -- braille and recorded books/magazines on a wide variety of subjects for all ages and reading levels.

This service is provided through a network of cooperating libraries throughout the United States. Service is limited to residents of the U.S., its territories and possessions, and to American citizens living abroad. New Jersey's program library is the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center, located in Trenton, NJ.
