LIBRARY OPERATING STATUS: The Richard E. Bjork Library has gone fully remote. Digital databases, electronic journal subscriptions, and video-streaming services are running as normal. Librarians are available for virtual course support.
The Richard E. Bjork Library provides an array of films in a variety of formats, including DVD, VHS, and streaming video. Streaming video typically requires a high-speed internet connection for effective viewing.
Faculty, who would like to incorporate streaming video into their courses, must first submit a Streaming Video Request Form for each film every term that the film is used.
Titles in these collections are copyrighted. Unauthorized use/duplication is strictly prohibited. All checked-out materials must be used in accordance with copyright law.
The Library does not own Public Performance Rights for most titles. Performance rights must be obtained for all public screenings. For questions about public screenings, please contact the Event Services office.
Under Fair Use, films may be shown in their entirety, or as clips, in the classroom. More information on Copyright and Fair use in the classroom.
