As the Dean of the Library, Patricia Thatcher, Ph.D., serves as a strategic leader, developing a 21st century information sharing and collaboration strategy for Stockton University that transforms library services, particularly in relation to digital and hybrid learning, and in the establishment of a Learning Commons that serves as a hub and “office” for all successful Stockton students.
Pat holds a Ph.D. in the History of American Civilization with an emphasis on Public History and Material Culture, from the joint program of that name sponsored by the Winterthur Museum and the University of Delaware. Pat brings museum and library experience as well as two decades of committed service to student success and the desire to advance the library to a central role in academic and student life at Stockton University.
