As the Outreach & Public Services Librarian, Joyce's responsibilities include library outreach, library instruction sessions, collection development, and collaborating with colleagues across Bjork Library on exhibits, technology, and assessment. She is the subject librarian liaison for the School of Health Sciences and the Disability Studies minor.
Joyce earned her Master of Information degree with a concentration in Library & Information Science (MI-LIS) from Rutgers School of Communications & Information and a BA in English from Saint Joseph's University. Previously, she worked at the Health Sciences Library at AtlantiCare's Atlantic City campus. Before becoming a librarian, she worked in account management at an advertising agency for over a decade. She has also worked in book publishing and bookselling. She attributes her passion for sharing information in a fun and creative way to her past experience in these fields.
