Gus Stamatopoulos is the Director of Library and Learning Commons Operations. In addition to being responsible for overseeing day-to-day library operations, his negotiation skills and acquisition knowledge provide the library with expansive resources and access to new platforms. Gus is the subject librarian liaison for Africana Studies, Holocaust & Genocide Studies and Jewish Studies.
Gus has many years of experience working in the library world and was previously Head of Access Services of the science division at Columbia University. He earned a Masters in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute and a Bachelors in American Studies with a focus on mass media from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
