The American Studies Association is the nation’s oldest and largest association devoted to the interdisciplinary study of American culture and history. Among other things, the website includes a guide to domestic and international American Studies and American Ethnic Studies Programs, a listing of fellowships and grants, information regarding internships, and a list of journals of interest (http://asa.press.jhu.edu/gasr/index3.html).

H-Net is an international interdisciplinary organization of scholars and teachers dedicated to developing the enormous educational potential of the Internet and the World Wide Web. Our edited lists and web sites publish peer reviewed essays, multimedia materials, and discussion for colleagues and the interested public.

The McNeil Center facilitates scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850, with a particular but by no means exclusive emphasis on the mid-Atlantic region.

Based at Rutgers, Camden, MARCH is a non-profit organization founded to foster regional collaboration and encourage better professional practices in humanities institutions throughout New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
